    Today, begin your exploration at Plaza de Mayo, the heart of Argentina’s most significant political and social events. Surrounding the square are key landmarks, including the Pink House (Casa Rosada), the old city hall (Cabildo), and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Continue your tour south to the historic neighborhoods of La Boca and San Telmo, known for their preserved 18th, 19th, and 20th-century architecture and vibrant cultural heritage. Next, head to Palermo, a residential area renowned for its elegant mansions and green spaces. Visit notable spots such as the Buenos Aires Eco-Park, the Botanical Gardens, Palermo Park, the National Polo Field, and the Planetarium.     DAY 6 — Cachi - Cafayate

    This morning, your guide will meet you for a scenic drive from Cachi to Cafayate along Route 40, one of the world’s most renowned highways. Enjoy views of desert landscapes, local ranches, vineyards, and strikingly colorful mountains as you travel. Admire Flechas’ Gorge with its exotic ash and quartz rock formations, which create dramatic vistas. Visit Bodega Colomé, home to the world’s highest vineyards, where you can tour the cellar and explore the James Turrell Museum. Just before sunset, explore Conchas’ Gorge, a deep ravine formed 50 million years ago, showcasing fantastically shaped mineral deposits. Enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Visit Tilcara, including its central square and church, and explore the Pucará of Tilcara, an ancient pre-Columbian settlement. The scenic drive ascends through the Quebrada del Toro (Bull’s Gorge), following the route of the Tren a las Nubes (Train to the Clouds). Continue north on Route 40, where you may spot llamas and vicuñas before reaching the expansive Salinas Grandes Salt Flats, covering approximately 8,287 square kilometers at 3,350 meters above sea level. Explore this vast salt desert, and then head north to the mountain pass for stunning views of the Puna region. Descend the Cuesta de Lipán, a winding road offering breathtaking views of the desert plateau’s vivid colors. Return to Purmamarca in the evening.
