Travel has long been both a personal passion and professional calling for Gavin. Having lived between Edinburgh, Singapore, Shanghai, Montreal, and Toronto, he brings a deeply global perspective and culturally immersive approach to the journeys he designs. After completing his degree in International Relations and Mandarin, Gavin began his career in travel through a Shanghai based travel magazine before joining Tully Luxury Travel in 2016. Since then, he has become known for creating highly personalized bespoke experiences shaped by deep destination knowledge, strong global relationships, and firsthand experience.
Gavin has explored 62 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, the South Pacific, and the Americas, spending nearly four months each year continuing to travel and deepen his understanding of the destinations he recommends. He has experienced safaris throughout Africa’s major wildlife regions and has a particular passion for culturally rich, immersive travel throughout Asia and the Middle East. A passionate linguist who speaks multiple languages including French, Spanish, Italian, Malay, and Mandarin, Gavin believes the most memorable journeys come from genuine connection to a destination and the people within it.
