Wellness in the Himalayas

Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel with a private transfer. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure.

This morning, after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Dehradun. Upon arrival, a hotel chauffeur will greet you and drive you to Narendra Nagar. After checking in to your hotel, you can spend the rest of the day at your leisure, making the most of the hotel’s facilities.

Today, meet with your Spa Doctor for an in-depth introduction to the "Introduction to Wellness Days" program, where you will spend the next two days. This program combines targeted spa therapies designed to help you build a foundation for achieving your wellness goals. In addition to spa treatments, the program offers access to a variety of complimentary wellness activities, including group yoga, fitness classes, meditation, and weekly treks.

Today, continue your journey toward wellness with another meeting with your Spa Doctor as part of the "Introduction to Wellness Days" program. You’ll further explore tailored spa therapies and enjoy diverse wellness activities, including group yoga, fitness classes, meditation, Vedanta lectures, and scenic treks. This day is designed to deepen your understanding and practice of holistic wellness.

Early this morning, you will be transferred to Dehradun airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will connect to your flight to Kathmandu, Nepal. Once in Kathmandu, you will be escorted to your hotel. The rest of the day will be at your leisure.

Before breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport for a scenic flight that offers spectacular views of Mount Everest and the Himalayas. For a more immersive experience, you have the option to take a helicopter charter tour to Mount Everest, with a landing at a selected location, allowing you to take in breathtaking views and capture photographs of Everest and the surrounding peaks. Afterward, return to your hotel for breakfast and some rest.

Later in the morning, visit the Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If possible, interact with the resident monks and participate in a ‘puja’ (worship ritual) ceremony. After lunch, visit the Pashupatinath Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Pashupatinath is one of Asia’s most significant religious sites, stretching along both sides of the Bagmati River, which is considered holy by Hindus. While non-Hindus cannot enter the temple, the surrounding areas are still fascinating to explore.

After breakfast, you will drive to Dhulikhel, with a stop en route at Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its stunning pagoda-style temples and rich architectural heritage. After lunch, continue your journey to Dhulikhel and check in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and reflecting on your Himalayan experience, enjoying wellness treatments and holistic activities while taking in the magnificent views and local rural life.

After breakfast, meet your driver who will take you to Namo Buddha, a sacred site with a Buddhist monastery offering breathtaking mountain views. Namo Buddha is renowned for the legend of King Mahasattva, who offered his body to a hungry tigress, making it a revered location in Buddhist tradition. The trek will also include a visit to the picturesque village of Panauti, known for its rice paddies, forests, and clear river streams. Return to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a personal wellness consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor or energy healer, followed by a Shirodhara treatment.

Your day at the lodge offers a full range of relaxation and wellness activities, including access to amenities like the Himalayan Salt Room, Chakra Sound Therapy Chamber, Meditation Maze, Yoga and Meditation Sessions, Pottery Session, Swimming Pool, Fitness Center, and the Garden of Nine Planets. In the evening, you can enhance your concentration and mental clarity with a Tratak meditation session, followed by a memorable dinner featuring organic ingredients sourced from a nearby farm.

This morning, following breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight.
