Originating in Monte-Carlo from the keen mind of visionary restaurateur Riccardo Giraudi, Beefbar is more than just a butcher-themed steak place, it is a revelation in the art of preparing meat, setting a precedent that has never been reached before, particularly at sea.
Crystal is quite proud to be the first cruise line to offer the Beefbar food concept at sea, adding significantly to the cruise line’s already incredible culinary offerings, which include Umi Uma, the exclusive dining experience crafted by Michelin-star Chef Nobuyuki, making it the sole Nobu restaurant at sea.

Beefbar’s menu is trilateral, with great cuts of meat sourced from the United States, Japan and Australia; street food inspired by popular international recipes; and iconic global favorites that please a variety of palates – delivered in the style of an elevated butcher shop of marble and brass.
“Food is the new fashion” is one of Giraudi’s taglines. This food entrepreneur – a.k.a. Beefboy – is heralded for not only the success of dozens of restaurants, but also for running one of the most successful businesses trading in rare cuts of meat, provided to some of the world’s top restaurants.
Crystal guests will enjoy Beefbar’s signature culinary excellence for lunch and dinner, with menus featuring prime cuts of meat, with vegetarian and vegan options available as well. Diners who hold dear their old favorites from Crystal’s Tastes dining room will still be able to enjoy those signature dishes, too.
